Usage rates are charged in an increasing fashion. For example, a commercial user within city limits who uses 16,000 gallons will be charged:
- $34 for the first 5,000 gallons, plus $30 ($3 multiplied by 10) for the next 10,000 gallons, plus $1.70 for the 1,000 gallons after the first 15,000 gallons.
