The Oakley Cemetery is located on Thomas County Road A, which is located approximately 1/2 mile to the east from E 8th Street in Oakley.
One lot, has four burial plots, is $100, plus a $21 filing fee. The deed is recorded in Thomas County and sent to you from there. Lots can be purchased at the City Office.
All opening and closing of graves are to be done by the City employees.
For burial in the Cemetery, there is 1 burial or 2 cremations allowed per plot. A permit is required to set a monument and a three day notification is required before setting the monument. Planting of trees, shrubs, and flowers, the erection or construction of any fences, coping or curbing of wood, stone, brick, cement or other material on or around any lot or grave are not allowed.
