Street Department

The City of Oakley Street Department maintains the City streets, alleys, and paving at the City Airport. The Street Department is responsible for snow removal in the winter time and street sweeping during the warmer months. The Street Department also maintains the signage in the City including painting curbing and parking spaces. Some of the equipment used by the Street Department is the grader, snow plow truck, dump trucks, back hoe and street sweeper. The Street Department employees are responsible for picking up refuse items for residents during spring and fall clean-ups.
