Volunteer Fire Department

The Oakley Fire Department is comprised of volunteers from our community. These individuals are our family, friends, and neighbors which means they bring a special understanding of protecting our community to the job.

The volunteers are on-call 24 hours a day and able to respond quickly to any call. With City and County equipment, these volunteer fire fighters protect more than 600 square miles over 3 counties.

The Fire Department is also very active in the community. Volunteers from the Department actively seek to educate citizens (especially kids) on fire safety, help raise funds for a variety of community efforts, and participate in community events such as parades.
