Emergency Management

The Office of Emergency Management works with the general public, businesses and local government in their disaster planning. The Office of Emergency Management plans for and coordinates major events within the county. The Emergency Manager coordinates local, state and federal response efforts. When state or federal support is needed the request must come from the local Emergency Manager. The Emergency Manager is the Public Information Officer for the county in event situations.
